Introduction
This site was created by me, Matthew Benton. For the last four years I have been fully recovered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which started when I was 31 years old and took over three years out of my life.
With 15 years of experience of tai-chi and yoga, and an interest in sports, fitness and alternative health, I was luckier than most sufferers of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I had a range of exercises and information that I could pick and choose from to help me deal with specific symptoms of ME/CFS - for example, Pheonix Spreads Wings in the tai-chi section helped me recover my appetite when I was almost too tired to eat.
The aim of this site is to pass on some of that knowledge to other sufferers of M.E / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. particularly the kettlebell weight training, hot and cold treatments and Osteopathy that undoubtedly did a great deal to help me recover.
I also recommend everyone reads the section on Reverse Therapy and Mickel Therapy which finally dealt with the last of my illness, and which has the potential to cure at any stage of M.E / C.F.S.
The site is divided into five main sections;
- Reverse Therapy and Mickel Therapy: An account of how this new therapy finally cured me of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
- Treatments: Complimentary Health Treatments which may help in M.E Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
- Self-Treatments: Some complimentary health treatments, exercises and lifestyle changes which may benefit suffers of M.E / CFS.
- Tai-chi and Yoga: Describes a number of simple exercises and meditations for suffers of Chronic Fatigue.
- Kettlebells: Why this ancient form of weight training improved my energy and anxiety.

Disclaimer
I must make clear that I am neither a medical professional or an exercise trainer, so these pages should not be taken as any sort of expert opinion. Read what I have to say but consult your doctor if you're going to start exercising, and tailor the exercises to the level of your condition and any other medical problems you may have, for example, high blood pressure, back trouble, Fibromyalgia etc. In particular the weight training section contains exercises which could cause serious injury. Obviously I can't be held responsible for what any of the exercises on these pages may do to everyone who tries them, so use your own judgement about whether to attempt them, or whether you are likely to come to harm.
Likewise I offer no guarantee than any of the treatments, supplements or exercises described in the articles or in the sponsored links will improve your condition. They are simply described here because they me and so others may find this of interest.
Policy
I have recently added some advertisting to the site for a trial period. You are under no obligation to follow any of these sponsored links. Some of these adverts may offer treatments, or even claim a cure for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I have tried to filter out sites which I believe sell products of little benefit, but if you follow any of these links, please be aware that I may not have been able to assess their products and so do not necessarily endorse the products and services offered.
